We are open to including and promoting the very best resources that can help people maximize the impact of their humanitarian and development work. We would be happy for you to propose a resource using this form.
Absolutely! The more people take advantage of the support this website offers, the bigger the impact it will have and this is exactly what we are keen to see.
The vast majority of the resources in PIN’s Knowledge and Learning Centre are available to everyone. We do so because we believe in the value of sharing our expertise with other relief and development practitioners. The only documents that are available just to PIN staff are those that are very specific to PIN’s operations, such as contact information for PIN’s technical advisors, internal guidance, various templates, examples and other resources.
Discuss the support you need with your line manager. If s/he cannot provide it, PIN staff can contact one of PIN’s technical advisors. Their contacts are visible to all PIN staff in the top right corner of each thematic site.
Under each thematic area, in the top left corner of the site, you can use various filters helping you select the resources that are most relevant to what you need. In the top right corner, PIN staff can also find contacts for relevant technical advisors who can recommend the most useful resource.
Good question. This website provides only a selection of the most useful guidance and other technical resources that help people ensure maximum quality of their programming. On the other hand, ELO serves as PIN’s archive storing a much broader range of documents.
